About Trevor

Meet Trevor Eulau, a dedicated musician and guitar teacher with a passion for helping young learners discover the magic of music. Trevor has 5 years of experience teaching guitar, specializing in working with children. His teaching approach is first and foremost based around helping children to develop a lifelong love for music.

Trevor holds a Bachelors of Music Degree from the University of Washington in Jazz Studies and completed coursework in music composition at the USC Thornton School of Music. Notable performances and projects include a 60 day US tour with the ANTI- Records signed jazz collective High Pulp, a live in the studio recording at KEXP’s headquarters in Seattle, Treefort Festival performer, and participation in MoPop’s Soundoff program. Trevor has performed with Steve Rodby, longtime bassist of the Pat Metheny group, Cuong Vu, Ted Poor and opened for Louis Cole in Los Angeles.

Trevor’s Teaching Philosophy:

  • Creativity First – Encourages students to explore music, not just memorize notes.

  • Positive & Patient Guidance – Creates a supportive, no-pressure learning environment.

  • Real Music from Day One – Students learn to play songs they love while building essential skills.

  • Strong Musical Foundation – Chords, rhythm, technique, and ear training included in every lesson.

When Trevor’s not teaching, you’ll find him performing around the Seattle area, attending meditation retreats, and walking in nature. Trevor believes that anyone can learn to play guitar, and he is excited to help your child embark on their musical journey!
